Yes. Most of your data is stored locally on your device using AES-256 encryption and never leaves it. We use anonymous identifiers for subscription management and do not sell your data. Authentication data (Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In) is used only to link your recovery progress across devices. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
SOLYN offers both monthly and annual auto-renewable subscription plans. You can explore the app's onboarding flow for free, and a subscription unlocks all premium features including AI coaching, streak tracking, breathing exercises, and the full knowledge base. Prices are displayed on the paywall screen before purchase.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's settings. On iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > SOLYN. On Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > SOLYN. Subscriptions must be canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly. To request a refund on iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. To request a refund on Android, visit the Google Play Help Center.
Yes. Go to Settings within the app and use the "Restore Purchases" option. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the original purchase.
No. SOLYN is an educational and self-help tool, not a medical service. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. The AI chat feature provides supportive guidance but is not a replacement for a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified healthcare provider or contact emergency services immediately.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SOLYN, as required by our Terms of Service and App Store guidelines.
You have two options: (1) From the app: Go to Settings > scroll to the bottom > tap "Delete Account" to immediately delete your account and server-side data. (2) Via email: Send a request to hello@solyn-app.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request." Most of your data is stored locally on your device, so uninstalling the app will also remove that data. For full details, visit our account deletion page.
The AI chat feature provides 24/7 supportive guidance for your recovery journey. Your messages are processed by a third-party AI service over encrypted connections. Chat conversations are stored locally on your device in encrypted form and are not stored on our servers. We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information or medical details in chat messages.
